Gallery Aydelotte
Current Exhibition

For our first show, in June 2011, we featured large, high-resolution prints of watercolors by English artist Helen Walker. These individual prints — measuring 22" x 30" each — are matte fine art images on thick Hahnemeule paper. Each print makes up a small fraction of the original watercolor image, as assembled at right, and has been further embellished with silver leaf trim. They are available for purchase. Cost is $150 per print.

For July 2011, we are presenting a selection of these prints in a different light — rearranged and rephotographed. The digital photographs shown at right (assembled in short video format) were staged and taken by Allison Aydelotte, as diptychs and triptychs. Each image shown in the short video clip is also available as a print. Video/web design by Angela Morales and Bridge Street Design. Ask us for pricing on any of the images shown.

Gallery Aydelotte
About + Mailing List

Gallery Aydelotte, opened in June 2011, is dedicated to showing and promoting cool, interesting art, and the lives that create it. We are currently an online gallery based in Austin, Texas, and New York City; our online presentations will be focused on these two cities. Our gallery does currently accept unsolicited submissions. Gallery Aydelotte's emphasis is on the work of contemporary artists working in any medium -- we look for a chosen focus, question of interest, mastery of a particular material, and/or aesthetic style. Preference is given to those artists with a certain facility in expressing their ideas to a buying public. Our goal is to sustain the online gallery financially through the sale of original artwork and high-quality print reproductions.

Call For Artists:
10 Years Later: September 11, 2011

Gallery Aydelotte will be presenting an online remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, now 10 years later. We are soliciting submissions from artists working in any medium, limited to the theme of September 11th and any political, emotional, psychological, and/or historical consequence of this event. Ten years later, we are also open to artists' interpretation of the passage of time; healing and resolution from this event; and even a stated disinterest in looking back. It was a significant, catastrophic event 10 years ago; how do we mark this time a decade later? We will be promoting and advertising an online presentation of selected artworks from Sunday, September 11th, 2011, through September 25th. Deadline for submissions is Monday, September 5th.

Ongoing Submissions

Gallery Aydelotte currently accepts ongoing submissions from visual artists wishing to exhibit their work online. Please accompany any submission with images in jpg, png, or pdf format only; each image requires a caption that states dimensions and media. Artists are welcome to submit additional information limited to an artist's statement and a curriculum vitae. Send materials to info@galleryaydelotte.com. A fee of $10 per 5 images is payable online via PayPal.
